The solution is a closed cash system linked to the POS. Making cash payments and monitoring the cash system is handled in its entirety by i-wire Insight Intelligence.
The Insight Intelligence interface, combined with Insight Explorer services, provides full, transparent, real-time insight into cash flows within your company. Even when you are on the way to a customer or supplier, you have up-to-date information regarding payments and the status of the cash system.

i-wire also offers a Barcode Scan and Payment module for handling cash payments when the cash register is not linked to our API. This can be useful when using scales or working with other specific methods.
Process cash more efficiently. Closed systems can be used to automatically issue change for the drawer or wallet. Changes can be made during shifts and, at the end of the shift, the cash drawer or wallet in the closed system can be deposited within seconds. Never count a cash drawer or handle cash again. Various types of transactions can be processed by i-wire Insight Intelligence.
Our service also makes it possible to establish a link with the cash register to collect the current turnover for the employee in question. This means that employee's turnover can be compared with the cash turnover from the cash register system when the drawer is cashed out, and any amount left over can be returned immediately as a "tip".
What is an API and how does this application work?
The i-wire API is a set of definitions used by the POS system and/or the online kiosk to communicate directly with the closed cash system. It serves as an interface between the software application(s) and the cash system's hardware. With an API key, you can easily process cash payments without needing any knowledge regarding the complexity of the system.
